KGK is looking for volunteers to take part in a research study testing a natural omega-3 based supplement that may help support memory.

About the Study

As we age, it’s normal to experience small changes in memory — forgetting names, misplacing things, forgetting where you parked, or taking longer to recall details.
Scientists are studying how omega-3 fatty acids, commonly found in fish oils, may support cognitive function, especially in adults who have noticed mild memory changes.

This Health Canada-approved study aims to learn how a natural health supplement high in omega-3s affects memory and overall well-being in people aged 50–75 with self-reported memory issues.

Why does this research Matter

Cognitive function — the way we learn, remember, and solve problems — plays a major role in maintaining independence and quality of life.
Early, self-reported memory changes can sometimes be the first sign of cognitive decline, so research like this helps us understand how lifestyle and nutrition might make a difference.

What's Involved?

If you qualify, your participation will last about 4 months and include:
  • 4 clinic visits (plus one screening visit)
  • Memory and health questionnaires
  • Blood samples
  • Use of a natural health product or placebo
