Why this Research Matters
More than half of Canadian adults are living with overweight or obesity, increasing the risk of developing conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, joint problems, and other chronic illnesses. While healthy eating and regular physical activity remain the foundation of weight management, researchers continue to explore additional nutritional approaches that may help support long-term health. By participating in this study, you will help researchers better understand how nutrition may support healthy weight management. Your involvement could contribute to developing future evidence-based health products that benefit many Canadians.
