Can a small patch make a big difference in moderate stress?
Help us find out and take an active step towards improving stress.

Stress is a normal human reaction in life when faced with daily challenges and can involve both physiological and psychological responses. While stress responses are normal and can be healthy, prolonged periods of stress can lead to negative health consequences. In 2020, an average of 21% of Canadian adults reported “most days quite a bit or extremely stressful” while 55% of Americans reported they were stressed in a 2019 survey.
Various lifestyle strategies are suggested to manage and reduce stress levels, including exercising, discontinuing tobacco and nicotine use, deep breathing, and mindfulness meditation. However, such lifestyle strategies require compliance to be effective and may be difficult for some individuals to sustain. Therefore, safe and effective alternatives to pharmacotherapy and lifestyle modification may present a more feasible and sustainable opportunity to address the burden of stress in healthy populations.
Non-invasive technology, such as patches, offers users the potential for health and wellness benefits without stimulants entering the body, given its absence of active ingredients.
What is this study about?
We are inviting adults experiencing moderate stress to take part in a clinical trial investigating the safety and effectiveness of a non-transdermal patch that may support stress levels and wellness through light-based (photo biomodulation) therapy. This study will explore whether the patch may help reduce stress, improve mood and sleep quality, and support overall quality of life.
