What is this Study about?
This clinical research study is evaluating a potential approach to support digestive comfort in healthy women who experience frequent gas and bloating
This study is/has:
- A randomized, placebo-controlled study
- Investigating changes in levels of PG in the body after consumption
- Using timed multi-blood draws
- Vital sign measurements
- Study Diaries and Food Records
Who may Qualify?
You may qualify if:
- Are aged 18+
- BMI between 18.5-29.9 kg/m2
- Has good venous access & comfortable with blood draws
- Are generally healthy
- Are willing to maintain current lifestyle habits during the study
- Able to attend all visits during weekdays
Additional criteria will be reviewed during screening. All visits are conducted by our trained research staff.
What's involved
- 3 weekly 12hr in-clinic study visits (meals provided)
- 24hr Post Long visit 30 min follow up visits
- Complete questionnaires and diaries
- Attend study visits
- Consume standardized meals
- Multi-blood draws (through a catheter)
All study procedures will be explained in detail during the informed consent process.
Participants are compensated ($1500) for their time and travel.

This study is Health Canada-approved and reviewed by an independent ethics board. All participants are carefully monitored throughout the study.
