A Children's Multi-Nutrient Supplement May Help Improve Focus & Learning
Proper nutrition plays a crucial role in supporting cognitive development in children. Daily supplementation can address nutrient deficiencies and help lower the risk of associated health problems. Data from the 2017–2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) highlights that multivitamin-mineral products are the most used supplements among children and adolescents. Micronutrient deficiencies have been linked to neurodevelopmental disorders in children.
Our investigational product, Kids Plus Multi & Omega, is a specially formulated supplement for children that contains essential vitamins, minerals, and omega-3 fatty acids. Research suggests that supplements containing multiple nutrients can positively impact cognitive development in children, though evidence on the broader effects of micronutrient supplementation on cognitive function remains limited. In addition to the vitamins and minerals, Kids Plus Multi & Omega supplement contains omega-3 fatty acids, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) derived from algal oil.

Omega-3 fatty acids are vital for growth and function of the developing brain. Studies indicate that omega-3s may enhance visual attention, working memory, executive function, and communication skills when included in a child’s diet through supplementation.
This study is designed to test the efficacy of this Kids Plus Multi & Omega dietary supplement on cognitive function after 56 days of supplementation. This supplement has potential to improve focus, memory, learning and cognitive flexibility in children during the school year.
